Size comparison of NH₃ vs H₂O Electrolysis modular arrays requiring the same power
Perdix Design applied our experience of modular design and containerised systems to advance early consortium deliberations, preparing robust initial concepts based only on schematic graphics and indicative information.
Production H₂O array in a lightweight weatherproof housing utilising existing rig systems
After reviewing structural drawings of the rig and a site visit, we produced pre-FEED layouts of a water electrolysis H₂ plant that minimised impact by utilising existing systems on the jackup rig. This saved significant duplication costs and freed space for more production equipment.
The movement is the engine room of a mechanical clock, combining precision and art
Familiarity and communication across language barriers can be challenging in discussions, so a FIFA international football pitch was used as a common reference - even those of us who aren’t football fans can grasp the size of the playing field and sometimes a little humour is appropriate and memorable.
Rather than drawing cooling water into heat exchangers via subsea pumps, we moved the heat exchanger itself subsea improving cooling and reducing power consumption.
This type of hydrogen production creates a lot of heat and a novel solution to cooling was to relocate heat exchangers to below the waterline. This innovation has become the basis for a patent application.
